An ad was run when Thee Desperado was five weeks old, offering 10 lifetime breedings to the colt. I can remember checking through my accounts, to see if I had had enough money to purchase one of these breedings. I was 13 years old at the time. Upon arriving at our first farm conference at Arabians LTD, I saw the picture that I had ingrained in my memory, hanging on the conference wall. Standing there, looking up at the picture, I had my first inkling of the direction our journey was taking. The colt had grown into a magnificent stallion, and I finally got to meet the horse that had made such an impression on me.
